Rumors have been flying around in regards to the paintball giant pro caps being taken over by another company. At this stage I would consider this a rumor still, even if there is a possibility that the company may be taken over, it is still not a dead cert. The rumors have in fact been around for around the past year, but a recently influx of news across the web has indicated that there may be some evidence in regards to this. Pro caps are one of the big players in the paintball industry, their paintball`s and equipment has been a key part of the industry for many years, and a takeover usually means new ideas around the direction of the company. Any company that makes such a large investment, would want to change the company to make its most profit, as all businesses aim to do in reality. It is said that the company may potentially be getting bought out by GI Sportz, the new and already very successful company.
Only time will tell what the fate of pro caps will be, but I would not think it was something for paintball players to worry about. If anything it is a opportunity for new minds to brainstorm ways to take the company further, and with new investment they will have more power to do so.
